CAVA BRUT RESERVA

Our Cava Brut Reserva, as all wines and cavas Giró del Gorner, is made with grapes from our vineyards. Vineyards pamper up get the best grapes to produce this cava. Taste it!

Elaboration

Soft extraction of free-run must. Slowly fermentation, between 15 and 17ºC. Second fermentation and ageing in bottle with constant temperature. In disgorgement adds liqueur d’expédition.

Ageing

In the bottle Minimum 2 years.

Tasting Note

On the eye. Palate, crystalline with light green glitters. Fine and delicates bubbles.
On the nose. Clean aroma, elegant and fresh.
On the plate. Alive and well-balance. Soft and fruity.

Food paring

It is fresh with light aroma; it is a cava for any time of day. Especially recommended for any type of fish and selfish. Suitable with white meat. Perfect as an aperitif.

CAVA BRUT NATURE RESERVA

After three years resting in the darkness of the cellar, finally our Cava Brut Nature Reserva sees the light. You offer no added sugar, to maintain the highest expression of secondary fermentation.  We hope you like it.

CAVA PINOT NOIR

Only grapes from our vineyard Olivera elaborate this delicate cava rosé. The subtlety of pinot noir offers soft and light wines.

This cava can be enjoyed with salads, pasta and rice. Meat, smoked, and
Japanese cooking.

CAVA BRUT GRAN RESERVA 2007

As in the previous year, the harvest of 2007 was rated as excellent by the Consejo Regulador del Cava. At our estate Giró del Gomer had a moderate production. For this cava gran reserva we harvest grapes from our vineyards: Hermitage, Garrofers and La Caseta. After how a minimum of 6 years of aging in the cellar sees the light, it is the first vintage of cava gran reserva brut we launched.  We hope you like it.

40% Macabeu from Hermità vineyard picked 6th September, 45% Xarel·lo from Garrofers vineyard picked 12th September and 15% Parellada from La Caseta vineyard picked 19th September. The soil is made up of clay and limestone. With low organic component and rich in lime.

Manual harvest. Sorting the grapes on the vine. Lightly crushed and soft extraction of free-run must. Slowly fermentation under control temperature at 16ºC. Separated fermentation for each grape variety. Blend the varieties, add sugar and yeast and Second fermentation and ageing in bottle with constant temperature.

Ageing

In the bottle Minimum 6 years in its lees. Disgorgement date on the label. Limited production, 7.297 bottles.

Tasting Note

On the eye. Pale, crystal with golden highlights. Pearl fine.
On the nose. Clean aroma, elegant and complex. Toasty’s own upbringing.
On the plate. Fine and elegant with some complexity, long aftertaste, good breeding.

Food paring

Suitable for dishes, casseroles, stews, red meat, etc. Your toast will give a special
character to make all kinds of cheeses.

CAVA BRUT NATURE GRAN RESERVA 2007

The years with exceptional harvests elaborated this cava brut nature gran reserva. The climate of 2007 allowed us to produce a base wine with enough acidity to have a long aging in the bottle. From our vineyards more balanced of Macabeu, Xarel·lo and Parellada we get grapes to produce gran reserva brut nature. During six years has laid in the cave, underground to constant temperature. No noise, no light, calmly, waiting for time to pass and that the wine is expressed with its maximum amplitude. We hope you enjoy it.
