GREEN PRUNING TIME
In the Penedès , the pruning , is called ” esporgar ” . It is a practice that is mainly used to reduce the production of the strain. It is to remove the green shoots or branches, stripping the strain of several buds to monitor the performance of the vineyard. The pruning is done from mid-May to late June.
